Prior to forming Rothchild, Garcia was a real estate portfolio manager at CCB Bank in Durham, North Carolina. Prior to CCB, Garcia was the VP of commercial lending operations at NCNB Bank, which is now Bank of America. Garcia started has finance career working for the Internal Revenue Service in Washington DC.
Alan Shelton is a senior level business executive with over 35+ years of experience in finance, commercial lending, and banking. Alan's career began with Manufacturers Hanover Trust in 1981, where he served as Senior Trust Officer in the bank's treasury management group before moving on to Wall Street. Alan is currently the general partner of LaSalle Rose Realty & Trust, based in Charlotte NC.
Alan's passion for finance started at age 12 when Alan started reading his father's wall street journal newspaper. His interest in finance & economics grew in high school and at Columbia University, an Ivy league school in New York. Alan majored in economics & finance and later earned his Ph.D at Princeton University Bendheim Center. Alan has been studying world economic for a lifetime and has attended over fifty lectures from the US most recognized scholars such Ben Bernanke, Milton Friedman, Warren Buffett and Robert Reich.
Gary Shelton is a senior level capital markets executive with over 30 years of experience in sales finance, corporate finance, commercial debt and commercial real estate finance. His career began working at his father's auto dealership in Chicago at the age of 13. After basketball at UNC, Shelton spent 10 years with the Hendrick Group based in Charlotte North Carolina before moving on to NCNB Bank in 1990, where he served as a Corporate Services Officer in the bank’s treasury management. After NCNB, Shelton joined investment banking term at Salomon Brothers under leadership of Ira Harris (Chicago’s deal maker) in CMBS real estate division. In 1996, Shelton landed at CCB Bank in North Carolina VP of commercial real estate lending prior to entering the finance arena as an entrepreneur.

Gary T. Williams is the nephew of the Iconic Chicago real estate developer and community leader Dempsey J. Travis. Gary started his career at the age of 12, working for his uncle Dempsey on the South-side of Chicago, performing various tasks at Travis Securities and Sivart Mortgage Company.
Gary earned his B.A. in Economics from UNC Chapel Hill North Carolina and a Master's in finance from the Cameron School of Business UNC Wilmington North Carolina. Williams has special studies in global market finance and was a member of JP Morgan special training group for derivatives back in the mid-90s known as "The Global Derivatives Group.

Dempsey Jerome Travis was born on February 25, 1920, in Chicago, Illinois. Travis attended Roosevelt University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in 1949. That same year, he founded Travis Realty Corporation and became its president. Travis also served as president of Sivart Mortgage Company. At the helm of these two companies, Travis was able to establish himself firmly as a real estate developer in Chicago throughout the latter half of the twentieth century. In 1960, Travis founded United Mortgage Bankers of America, as well as the Dempsey Travis Securities and Investment Corporation, which he served as president until 1974.

Spaulding wielded a wide influence in the community and emerged as the “undisputed leader during his time. He managed several Durham financial institutions, which includes Mechanic & Farmers Bank, located in Durham North Carolina. He regularly appeared before the North Carolina legislature on behalf of North Carolina College (today’s North Carolina Central University) and served on the boards of trustees of several black colleges, including Howard University, from 1936 until his death in 1952.
